Our application engineering team has developed a premium-efficiency, two-stage model for both fixed and regulated speed compressors using new compact double-stage airend technology. What sets this design apart is the airend, which features one motor and four rotors in a single, semi-integrated casting. Unlike traditional two-stage compressors, this results in a compact footprint while delivering significant energy savings. In fact, thanks to this innovative design, the overall size matches that of a single-stage machine.
The innovative FourCore technology delivers best-in-class efficiency—up to 10% higher than the single-stage Frame 6—while offering all the advantages of two-stage compression without the typical drawbacks.

The efficient combination of motor, drive, and airend is specifically designed to reduce specific power, helping you save on energy costs. Gardner Denver employs TEFC IP55 motors with high efficiency as standard.
Premium Efficiency Airend
The Gardner Denver airend is designed for reliable operation and easy maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime. Its high-output compression element, operating at low rotational speeds, significantly reduces energy consumption. An innovative design with a fail-safe shaft seal, integrated oil filter, and oil regulation valve minimizes the need for external hoses, enhancing overall quality and reliability.
Easy Installation
The ESM Series is designed with serviceability in mind. Large double doors allow easy access to all service points, and all maintenance tasks can be performed from the front of the compressor.
VS Series – Our Compressor Solution for Varying Air Demand
Exceptional flexibility is built into the VS Series. With a regulation range of up to 80%, it offers one of the fastest and widest responses to changes in air demand available on the market.

Optimized Cooling System – High-Efficiency Radial Fan
The radial fan design ensures quiet and efficient operation. Its low peripheral speed results in reduced noise levels and up to 50% lower energy consumption compared to traditional axial fans. A key advantage is the high residual thrust (stable airflow curve), which allows for exhaust ducting with a pressure drop of up to 130 Pa. Oversized aftercoolers in the ESM / VS 160–290 series ensure optimal cooling and discharge temperatures.
